What the fee buys
The question is never “is $6,888–$38,888 a lot of money?” The question is: compared to what?
| Buyer | The fee is small next to… |
|---|---|
| Parent | One semester of private school tuition. A family ski holiday. A lifetime of China-blindness your child can’t afford |
| Company | One wrong sourcing decision. One overpriced quote from a factory nobody visited. One roadmap built on vaporware |
| Principal | Two years of false starts. A $50,000 consulting engagement that produces a deck and no introductions. Getting China wrong on a major initiative |
The fee buys what you could not assemble à la carte: access through relationships built over 26 years, a bilingual lead guide who runs the circuit, and doors that do not open for tourists.
Typical inclusions
- Multi-night GBA accommodation
- Meals as scheduled for the group
- Ground transport on the circuit
- Bilingual lead guide (China Unlocked is Steven-led with support)
- Program of visits as available that week
Typically not included
